Good evening, I just thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Richard and I'm from Leigh-on-sea in essex, I have just purchased a seagull and am looking forward to giving it a run, the serial number is LLS 322C3.
I've had a look at the forum and there's a lot of information which no doubt will prove very useful.

Hi Richard

Any activity we should be aware of with your old bird recently?

Looks like a nice bit of kit.

I actually got to tinker with my engine yesterday, checked the spark, nice fat spark on the plug, happy days, I decided to change the throttle cable as it had seen better days, removed the slide from the carb and noticed that the needle screw was about 1 1/2 turns above the level of the plunger, it this normal as in the manual it says it should be flush?

Yep!

Start with a flush is always good.
