wpcl water problems

Post by Katomi »

Hi All I have a silver centery plus and last week the water flow just stopped, as luck would have it as I was comming along side the pontoon.
I have: back flushed it: taken the botom leg off and looked at the impeller that seems ok.
I did notice that when flushing it from the impeller end the water came stright out of the exhast and that the tube from the impeller up the excasht casing is not attached at the top.. HElp please

Do you mean that the water pipe has become detached from the block?

At any rate, you'll almost certainly have to part the power head from the rest. Not a problem, it's just the 2 nuts on the crankcase and the silencer clamp.

Have a good look, and let us know...
