i have the amal 416 carb on my seagull no 181 hh1 problem is only getting drips of fuel pressing the primer still no fuel carb fills up slowly engine always starts first pull runs till carb empteys,plenty fuel coming from the tank to the carb.
filled the block couple of nights ago with kettle descaler left it upside down untill this morning. took the float bowl off float seems fine as does the float needle probably a simple solution but a massive one for me all help welcome thanks in advance.

Have you cleaned out the fuel filter behind the banjo?

many thanks pizey,that filter was blocked also found out the washer next to it had deteriated replaced washer cleaned filter, going like a sewing machine now.
