Bakelite HT cap for a FVP

Post by dblunn »

Hi, I have a new rubber one but I just can't bring myself to cut the lug off to fit it. Can anyone sell me an old Bakelite cap at a reasonable price?

I'm sure John can sort something but then again I'm sure there MUST be a source of sensible non resistive plug caps in that part of the old Colonies without having to resort to shipping a plug cap half way round the world .. :)
But if has to look original.........

Thanks fellas,
I have emailed John and am awaiting a reply.
There used to be a dealer of Seagull parts in Oz but they dropped the line, don't know if anyone is supporting Seagull in Australia now.

Yes I do want it to look original as they are such a pretty motor and I have done quite a bit of work on it already, not show quality but a nice -true to type- working motor.
