Marston Wish List

Post by Charles uk »

Rene's flurry of pictures has prompted me that it's about time that I reminded everybody about the "Marston Wish List" & what it's purpose is.

The Wish List was established many years ago to connect people who wanted to own a Marston with people who had one to sell.

It has very simple rules, your name can only be on the list once, & you must nominate the model desired from the following list,

OA 78cc all series,
OB 340cc twin,
OE 78cc hi-duty,
OF 78cc fnr,
OG,OK 102cc fnr,
OH 102cc hi-duty,
OJ, ON, OP 102cc straight exhaust,

Try not to pick a model that might be beyond your restoration abilities, (fnr versions are complex & difficult to fix & restore).

The first name on any list is first in the queue, if they don't purchase, their name goes back on any list they choose, at the end of the queue.

This way we save the ebay & paypal 15%, I don't really want to be in the middle of any negotiations, though I will assist if required.

There is also a list for spares required & spares available.

Please could any register members with odd surplus bits on the shelf, please let us know there might be another member desperate for one of those!

All correspondence by email please.
