Its not a film, Just a low budget Ozzie TV show, I didn't spot it before, I'm normally half asleep after watching it, it seems that they have so many Seagulls in Oz that they use them as ornaments now.

Watched "The Man Who Lost his Head" starring Martin Clunes the other evening. Set in New Zealand there was a scene with a boat in the background with an older Mercury 100hp or so on a boat and in the foreground a Seagull outboard lying across a table. It had a 5 blade Prop couldn't tell the year without looking again but likely late 60's. It gets a good few seconds or stardom.

That's the one, interesting there is a camshaft on the bench too, with only 2 strokes in sight :)

There are two Mercs. They must be a matched pair as the one on the transom looks a blur counter rotation. I would use the right handed (Clockwise) as a single set up preference given the choice. Maybe the one dumped in the grass had typical rusted drive shaft that plagued them?
