What ignition should this very early 102 have

Hello everyone, I'm usually pretty clued up on seagulls but this one has me stumped, what ignition should this seagull have, mk1 villiers with flangeless stator , coolie hat flywheel type or standard mk1 villiers .... I'm not sure how to add photos on here but it's ebay item number 321533299639 ( I bought it and now have it in my possession) look at that yummy bayonette style tank, I know it should have a bow tie prop ! Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's an early AD,so standard flat top Mk1 ignition, plain aluminium cover. And swept back 2 blade prop, as per SD etc. The "bow tie" was a mofification of the swept back version that allowed for the use of the "sub-ejector" exhaust.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm glad the ignition on it is correct, I have a marston with a straight exhaust too awaiting restoration

that looks like a good project, mostly all correct for an early post war engine, as Charles says, the prop should be 2 blades swept back, SD style prop. Can't beat an early 102 :

It even has the original fuel pipe by the look of it.

It is an easy resto by the looks of it. I decided I wanted it in literally minutes after it was listed on ebay, apart from the drive tube which I have a replacement for and like you say the prop it's all there and it's coming apart really easily and no corrosion on the aluminium which is the main thing, original fuel pipe is a nice little bonus, not bad for £45 plus £15 postage,

Yummy throttle as well.... may of started life as an sd as it has the sd exhaust flat outlet

It's coming apart very nicely, I have quite a few of those throttle levers, anybody who knows me will tell you I have a huge stock of spares but anything rare I keep because I'm
greedy like that
