Well that all made great reading!
I have taken your comment to heart and have added Charles's comments to the 5R page.
Sadly he is dead right about these motors, they are trouble. OK for a collector and that is about all these days.
Please do not put to sea with an unreliable Seagull, we do not want to make more statistics for the RNLI! Gives us all a bad name!
I would say the same about an unmodified 170 as well!
