Yes a rare seagull.
Or could it be a 3hp, 60's motor with an awful paint job and will probably need new coils to run.

Like Keith said. They are really good little motors if they have decent compression, over 75 lbs. Many people regard them as the best motor OMC ever made. Simple to work on too. They made the 3 hp from 1952-1968 with few changes.
Sleeve bearings throughout so must be run on 16:1 if you expect it to last. The one on eBay looks like it is somewhere around 1960 considering the paint color on the btm of the motor. 1952-'54 had a similar color but somewhat darker.

I would say, with one decal that can be seen and only a main jet adjuster its a 67 model.
