I have seen 3 different throttle levers fitted to SD's, which was correct or were they all correct because it didn't matter to the user, I don't know.

But I do know a couple of guys who have quite a lot of them, I will ask them the question.

Should we put a poll up as well? a poll with a usefull purpose might benefit a lot of us.

My camera software won't work with windows 7, can any SD owner with a different throttle lever, post a picture on this thread to illustrate the options for this poll.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

You have a skeletal bracket. I'm jealous!

I have only ever seen the brass long amal lever. Interesting to see that lever fitted to the prototype little 40 in the adverts on the SOS site. Makes me think that that lever was around on other early post war engines too, not just SD?

Not on an sd, but someone pointed out that it was an early type.

It's an early Villiers throttle lever as used on Seagulls with Villiers carbs.

Sorry about that being off subject, i was looking at the throttle lever, a straight one. My Sd is the bent up on the end type and that's a 45/6 vintage and i thought the straight ones were from earlier units.
