Hello David
I may be wrong but I don't think you will find any genuine Anzani shells.
As you are looking for shells then the crank journal must look OK.
Get a digital vernier and check the diameter of the journal, then again at right angles
to make sure its not worn oval, you should have up to .002"allowance,but in real life you
can get away with .005".
Allow .001"shell to journal clearance.
Next bolt up con rod and measure internal diameter.
Then measure the width of journal, but be aware that it will have a radius where the journal
meets the crank webs.
When you have the sizes get on the interweb and email bearing stockists/small engine part suppliers/
Lawn mower repair shops etc with your requirements.
You may be lucky as some shells will fit many engines.
If you get some, make sure that the radius on the edge of the shells is the same as that on your crank,
or they will pinch up and spin when running.
Also try a wanted ad on the stationary engine, marine section web site.
Good luck
Ray
