Hi there,
I have a type of dull golden hammered paint finish on my seagull flywheel that requires respraying. Can you tell me if a coloured spray paint is available close to the original colour?
I've tried looking here for a close match but it beginning to dawn on me that it's probably not available.
I live in New Zealand.
Thanks in advance.

Hammerite do a gold colour shade, which I understand is fairly close.

I find that if you mix gold and copper Hammerite that gives a very close match.

I was thinking earlier that somebody had advised this in the past, but I couldn't remember exactly which shades to mix :P

Just go to carcolors or wairau paint centre and they will mix the colour you need.
Both on the North Shore, Auckland...... Like Me!

Welcome

Hi Nudge,
I'll take the Flywheel over to Wairau Park and see whats what.
Do you you know if they just eye ball the colour and mix accordingly or do they have scanning technology here in NZ for an exact colour match?
Thanks. (Kia ora rawa atu)

As far as I know they can scan (not 100% sure) if not Bunnings can scan then go to Wairau Paint
