Can somebody please tell me the thread size for a silver century clutch stud so that i can order a tap?

You're not blind, it's not here despite recent claims to the contrary. Hole is 3/8" on all models prior to FNR models with the thicker driveshaft tube. There is a chart somewhere on the web which tells you the correct size drill to use prior to tapping, but Charles reckons a 8.5mm bit will do it and I expect in this he is right.

I think I said 8.25mm
