Nudge:

Thanks so much for the help. Task finished and am anxious to try it out afloat.

Another puzzle: with remote throttle, how do you: rush from starting the Gull back to middle of boat (my boat is half the length of yours) without such maneuvering rocking the boat overmuch; and how do you work the shift lever remotely?

First off, I dont rush!!
Second I dont have a clutched gearbox.... Pull the chord and go!

Get the motor going and pointing where you want it, Slow it down to about half then move to where you need to be .... try and move down the centre of the boat.

You may be able to make a remote clutch using a stiff wire in a lawn mower throttle so you can push / pull :?:

I would need to think about it for a bit!
"THE KING OF BLING"!
Is it better to over think, than not think at all?
