Looks like the last owner gave it a skelp can/or is it worth fixing...

That could be repaired, by welding and then dressing back carefully. Finally it could be vapour blasted and the repair would not be visable. However it will cost a bit to get it welded.

I've got a couple of those, do you want me to see if they are any good?

Many thanks for your kind offer oyster i came across this in a box of bits i picked up this morning no use for it . but very interested in getting the top end what ever it may be. .cheers
