If it is just surface rust then a honing tool will clean her up. They are relatively cheap and effective. I understand BS used then. If reboring, are oversize pistons rings available? I use a BRM (made state side) flexi-hone. 58mm/2 1/4inch. Think it cost about $40au.

Pull the piston from your Olympic Hugs, I think you'll find it might be a 10 thou oversize Seagull piston, some were.

Not sure that Olympic cylinders were not Seagull cylinders that were rescued from the scrap bin by boring oversize.

Your the man with both in front of him, am I talking **** again Hugs?
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

That's what we call downunder as a "gonna" motor ie going to do but never gets done. I'm pretty sure if it has an oversize piston that I cant reuse it will have your name on it Charles. Need some replacement 102 blocks.
