While I'm at it...

Post by erle bartlett »

...black fingernails and all from the Seagull, it's probably a good time to address that Riptide Boatman I've got sitting in the shed. Can anyone give me a lead on the technical details? Spark plug, fuel mix, lubricating grease, what the ignition advance lever does and should be set at for starting, all that sort of thing.

Does it look anything like the motor in my avatar? Collector Inspector (Bruce) has the gen on those. I'm after a Riptide carry handle if anyone is parting.

Lots of interesting motors in your part of the world.

The oz national Seagull gathering is on at Goolwa SA, 19/20 Feb 2015 if you are the traveling type.

No, yellow tank and just the single cylinder. The carry handle is an integral part of the casting on mine.

Perhaps i am in the wrong forum here too. I might go across to that other one with my Riptide enquiries.
