Did anyone get any pictures for the SD register?

Charles,
I saved the pictures from The original ad off eBay.
If you wish, I'll email them to you.

Cheers

:P
When i can work out how to transfer pics into a seperate photofile from here i will do so.
Very useful for me and the register i must say.

For what it's worth, i thought this was perfectly genuine in every respect and exactly what i would expect an un-used SD to look like fresh out of the box. Very cool indeed and one for the history books i reckon.

Jon, one left click of the mouse, with your mouse pointer over the picture, left click again to zoom in, right click and select, save image as, from the menu and you will now find the image in your download folder.

If you expand this photo have you noticed that the notches in the cross timbers that hold the motor in place are strategically placed so the motor is on an angle to necessitate room for the transom mount? Has any other box have these notches in the same place. I wonder if they are held down with butterfly nuts?

Thanks for that Keith but i'm still at the janet and john stage with pooters  (if i'm being honest i hate the bloody things but they're useful in today's modern age at least)

Hugz
Aren't the wing nuts part of the transom mounting?
Difficult to see in the pics but i get what you're saying.
Did you get any more info from the seller Hugo? I hope it does get relisted as most of us would then keep a real close eye on it, and if i can get my arse into gear before it finishes again i might manage a dash over to see it up close and personal (maybe with Chas in tow) for the register.

I think Hugz is on about the wood holding the motor down, I think they are usually held down by a wing nut, but you can only see an edge of a washer on this picture.

Not in our lifetime Hugo

Snapped up by the hidden I would think.

Nor me?

Shame as i'd very much like to keep tabs on its existence wherever it ends up.
