SDP for sale

Post by Oyster 49 »

SDP11287 circa 1946 in restored condition. Fully stripped and rebuilt and not used since! Direct drive, brass tank and tiller, correct SD prop, bronze bracket and amal brass throttle lever, correct original fuel pipe. New HT lead, bakelite plug cap and new plug.

The short water jacket and nippled gearbox were in excellent condition when stripped, and the engine pumps water down to a moderate tickover.

Generally a very nice engine, a couple of chips on one end of the tank. Only selling to thin down my collection and make some room for other projects.

Open to offers.

Amazing how a 102 will go into a small box. About 20kg all in 8) Spotlessly cleaned including gearbox innards and tank. No oil or fuel, all rules adhered to. Mrs. Oyster works for the carrier in question, so no choice!

I love the fact that Bruce is getting a seagull kit.

You could have added in a few odd bits just to test him :D
