WHY?

What's wrong with the canted tank Tam.
Apart from how it looks, there's nothing wrong with them as far as i can see.

For what it's worth, my FV has one of these on it. I'm happy with it and how it looks.

Mine has this tank too.. but I would agree the round one has a particular classic look which is more attractive. I think the long range one is more practical for me though, I will be doing some long runs :) How many FV/FVP motors do you have now Tam??

Well, as it happens i've got a small round tank for an FV/P

It's far from pretty. How's your brazing skills as it's got some big splits around the fuel cap area. I reckon it's been in the freezer at some point to try and get the dents out!!!(not by me though) It was on another wreck i bought quite a while back . It's going to need some work before it will hold fuel in it again.
Quite do-able i think----maybe

swaps for something else maybe? (wink)

That's why i'm never afraid to go and pick up something valuable in person. No matter where it might be in the country. I'm not scared of driving, literally anywhere. Done it before, and will do it again. Bugger the expense in petrol.
If i break it, it's my fault.

How's your welding skills these days Tam.
Didn't you do one like this before?

Contacted couriers and was told legally you should unpack in the presence of delivery driver before signing for it otherwise you have stated that you received it in good condition THAT'S BULLDUST IN MY BOOKS

Jon I'm not scared of driving neither I cover about 2-3 thousand a week china

Whatever way it's packed, with or without the tank fitted, that's one part of the motor that's not exactly strong.
I know of someone that had the same problem, a coffee maker was left behind his back gate, very considerate of the driver, except he didn't open the gate to drop it off, twice.
Collecting the motor is a much better option, but it's not always an option.
Next time unpack it in front of them before you sign for it, if they don't like it you can tell them why.
Was it herpes, sorry, hermes.
