The register can help but as there are at least 6 different cylinders & 5 exhausts we might need a bit more info, like an engine number.
contact me direct.

Are you planning to try and convert your ON to OA replica? Earlier Marstons were smaller capacity I believe.

You're not going to try to make a teardrop Marston out of a 102 are you?

It would be a very interesting project, just from a cost viewpoint, ignoring the fact that only the carb, fuel tap, fuel cap, complete ignition & sparkplug were common.

Some time ago I visited a cast iron foundry that used to supply Seagull with some of their cylinders & asked them what it would cost to remanufacture an OA cylinder as they still used gutter iron on listed building gutters, hoppers & down pipes, they couldn't answer me from just a description so I went back with a cylinder that had self destructed, they then told me the pattern makers bill could well exceed £2500 cash, at which point I said thanks & left.

I don't think we've a member with so little knowlege that they would think a suggestion like yours was a serious possibility, I think he's heard tell of one missing the cylinder & the exhaust but doesn't want to give too much away till it's in the boot of his car.

You've obviously never been in a foundry, a mental picture of Hell is close, there are no cupboards where that could happen, they just fill the order any excess goes back in the pot.

Have a look on the net & see what a square foot of industrial space cost in this bit of the country.
