The 'Bolinder' engine was a type of single-cylinder two-stroke diesel used on some traditional commercial narrowboats. Never seen one, but there used to be a recording of how they sounded on youtube, it seems to have been deleted. People into canal history speak of them in hushed tones...

It looks ok and it wouldn't take much to re-paint the tank but his price is high. Reserve will at least £200. And I'd rather have a Bolinder. Have a look at this video of a historic narrowboat in action.
