SD grease pump.

Post by Hugz » Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:05 pm

Hi, found this. I believe it be similar to what was supplied. There are no markings. Works a treat. Has anyone got pics or info on the original? Tecalamit?

I'm on the lookout for a tecalemit "pom pom" which i understand is what was supplied with SD's
Yours looks about the same. I guess have a closer look at the end fittings of this pump and see if its compatible with the nipples on the gearbox.

I think there must be quite a few of this type of oil/grease pump on ebay. Mostly for classic cars it seems but no harm in trying one on a seagull i suppose.

Looks like the pump that was in nearly every motorcycle tool kit, girder forks need regular greasing.
Have seen two types one has holes on the top, I often see them at swap meets.
