Are you talking about the bit the drive tube goes into?

If so they changed when the support lugs changed.

Hard to tell but my FV8905 is a 1951 and my FV15020 is a 1952 and yours being somewhere in the middle i couldn't say.

Jeremy told me the fuel pipe change was in the mid 8000's so yous is correct.

Hi Tam and Jacob,
Ref. the first photo, I am not sure what you haven't seen before. Was it the one with the different crankcase, which is used in conjunction with the new engine support lug? This design was introduced (according to BS spares list) at 10000.

With regard to the fuel pipe, the looped type seemed to have been superseded by the 'U' shaped one some time in the 8000s serial numbers. Tam, your FVP8369 with a 'U' pipe, is possible near the changeover point.

Tam, reference our telecon, I am trying to get organised and will be in touch shortly.

Jeremy
