Oh and the generator runs too slow at direct drive so some gearing up is required. Sewing machine belt ordered

As for starting and running with the odd carb on the end of a bit of hose. Its perfect, starts second pull from dry no problems, runs lovely all through the rev range and its quiet. Noticibly quiet

My little boat with the seagull bitsa engine. Is now officially a tug boat. Had to go and recover a broken down cabin cruiser yesterday. The little engine ran lovely for 3 hours non stop so its been tested and tested well

How far did you get with the steel prop? Was it ever finished?
