Hello everyone,
Is there a way of fixing the vent on my SD bayonet cap so that its straight again? I haven't touched it for fear of damaging it.
I also have a spare chrome bayonet cap that has the same problem but not as bad.
Any ideas?

Re: Bayonet cap
I suggest if it still works as intended then leave it be.
Other will chip in as they will know better than me as to how the are assembled in the first place.

I suspect the hole in the diaphragm is worn and the diaphragm is probably worn and distorted. I'd leave it well alone if I were you..
The diaphragm is not flat, so the valve will not sit square and just wobble about. The original is the cap on the right in the photo. The new ones have a flat diaphragm.
