http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262498758535 ... EBIDX%3AIT
If it was closer i would be tempted, it would be fun at the Seagull Nationals

Yes Indeed.
The cooling is not correct because it will not convect.
Looks like display only as noted in advert.

Yup
Noisey, almost offensively loud unless you're using ear defenders
smelly, will probably get a tad hot within 10 minutes, probably a £*%*er to start with a villiers carb. A hotchpotch of parts to say the least.
I wonder if it runs ok!
Interesting though

A tad less interesting maybe, however this 1921-22 5hp Evinrude inboard should be tucked away with the rest of my collection before this week is out.
And at about the same price as that "engineered" seagull, I reckon I'm getting a better deal.
Regards,
S

Council regs in Vic are an absolute killer mate. Need inspections of proposed site, concrete slab & footings etc and approvals for anything for anything over 3 x 3m. They'll allow 2 of 3 x 3's sitting side by side, but not 1 of 6 x 3. Go figure!
Have considered moving but wife won't budge. May have to make a choice soon ....

I turned my dining room into a workshop with drill press, grinders, 3 welders etc and railway sleeper workbench. I can't imagine any wife I would swap that for!!
Buy an old transit van. Great shed and investment. There is a 1978 Sundowner down your way for sale. Only 140 made and this is a one owner.

I have a shipping container, no council involved, $800 on ebay and a dozen second hand railway sleepers.

That looked familiar.
Never did find a suitable water pump previous owner said it was very noisy tried several ways to quieten it without luck, still have the dinghy should get rid of it as its quite heavy.
