Hi,

It means people who look at the posts on this board frequently, and who will generally make sure the stuff on here is appropriate. Anything that's spam, pornographic, excessively rude, etc we will simply remove.

That gives John Williams the freedom to go away for a few days and come back to a forum that's free of all this type of thing.

Most forum boards on the Internet are moderated, some will not allow any messages at all on them until a moderator has passed them.

Hope that answers the question!

Hi Erik

At the top of the screen there is a link Image FAQ which stands for Frequently Asked Questions.

Here you can find a brief explanation about the technical workings of this forum including the answer to your question.
What are Moderators?
Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material.
Our FAQ is the default one but does give a good overview. After reading it you might have a lot more questions because of all the features that could be available to us on this forum.

I don't know much about seagulls  but would be happy to try and explain any of the workings of this forum.

I have this problem. My english is, what you could call, limited edition, and I get into trouble with a lot of tecnical terms. So I tend to ask for specifics.
And I am sure, that i misspell many words, or perhaps some of the words I use doesn't even exist, or cannot be used in this context. Hope the meaning comes clear anyway.

But as long, as I enjoy myself what the ....
