This Time Last Year....WA Had Fires

Post by Collector Inspector »

My thoughts are with anyone in Tazzy.........Who would have thought savage fires as what they have? World is going to Hell in a Hen Basket lately?

China has frozen up and Russia is, well, frozen up..................

No fires here at the moment as it is just plain HOT and RAINING? Figure that then............ Perth and slightly lower South West is now Tropical ooh yeh!

36 DegC and raining.....................................Stupid world!

Others in the Eastern States, VIC, CT, NSW and East SA....................Bloody Hell! The weather maps show nothing but HOT dry air coming from the interior........

Keep yr powder WET!

And in 2009 there was black friday in Victoria. Made me feel numb when i seen the news about that farmer who didnt have enough time to unlock his sheep he had in his shearing shed when the fires went threw. Thats how fast the fires were". Going to have some hot days ahead.

Yes, it was the hottest Sydney day on record! We rotated between the pool (pool temp got to 33) and the airconditioned house all day; a nice southerly change cooled us down by about 10pm. Today was only 24.....

Minus 20 here in Ottawa Canada, and another 12 inches overnight...no fires except in our stoves! Heart really goes out though to those poor mates in WA. Think of the loss that lies ahead too. :(

Thats insane ! What are you a polar bear ? lol
I feel sorry for the fire victims too , most of the fires are lit by the mentally insane and it it seems fire breaks just don't exist in Australia and what water they have they use to make into beer ~ which they seem reluctant to put on a fire unless passed through a bladder first .
