Clinker, 4 plank a side, flat bottom with a well. Using 5mm plywood it was a test to see if I could replicate a punt built in 1930 using moden materials. The well is an attempt to take the drumming that a flat bottom would create.

Had a TD once. Found the key to running it was not to repair things if they were non-essential. As soon as you repaired an item, another s----t the bed. Thus when the top refused to be raised, I did not fix it for fear that once fixed, the transmission would blow. I learned to drive in the rain.

BTW, I have lost a bit of energy, but am more seasoned and experienced. My wife, God bless 'er, has so many things (painting rooms, repairing fireplace, etc) to do now that both of us are retired that I have less time for important things such as seagulls. She suggested a canary.
