Interesting stuff

Post by Oyster 49 »

There seems to be a flurry of interesting engines on ebay at the moment. An FVP, a model "D" at a silly price, a model "C" plus an AC with a SD tank. All good stuff. An SD lacking a tank, but with a marston carb for £107. Also a 102 with a SD throttle lever. An SDP sold for £30!

I was starting to think before christmas that all the interesting stuff was starting to peter out! On top of that the revelation about the little 40. :o

Shame I'm not really in the market at the moment. :(

Have you noticed how many of the incomplete or "spares" ones are missing the fuel tank :?:
Is there a national shortage :?:
Hope so co's i may well "clean up" I seem to have more tanks than running engines :!:

For some reason, I seem to be aquiring motors, especially 102's without tanks, I recon the Stationary Engine boys find a use for the round brass tanks.
