After buying a 40 Featherweight that worked perfectly, I thought I'd look for a non-runner that I could strip down and rebuild, and if I reduced it to a parts collection, then I wouldn't be too disappointed. In answer to such an advert, I was contact by a man who was looking to get rid of two! Both were running when he last used them. When I saw them, they seemed to be in very good nick, so I offered 50 euro for the pair, he countered with 100 and we settled for 75. Both are Century models, one with clutch. I now have 3, yes, THREE, Seagulls, that I don't need, and probably won't use, since I have a two year old Mercury 6HP 4 strk on the boat.
It is a foul and dangerous disease. The site's home page should have a health warning. The ad has 5 more weeks to run. Fortunately, I will be away on my hols for two weeks, but what if, when I get back, I have a stack of voicemails offering a plethora of Seagulls at knock-down prices? Can I be strong? Will I resist? I must, the future of my marriage could be at stake.......
p.s. One came with the original manual!
Now I've gone and done it!

Re: Foul up on spelling
Dear afflicted one,
the correct word is surely fowl not foul......
Happy birding.
