If it ever get's stolen Bruce & I'm in WA, check my pockets for that & your Wankel.
But it's the 4 strokes that will go in my pockets first!

very nice simple looking engine... But I do have one question, what is the round knob/ leaver by the flywheel for?
Make that two questions. What is R.E.A. ?

R.E.A. is the brand name. Some history and general information can be found here...

It is a spark engine. The lever is the advance retard.

Re: Miniature Engine Display
So back to mounts for display.
I have MKs 1 thru 3 of these Atoms.
The problem is that the wee tanks are kind of a problem in that the mounting plate of the crankcase is about 1/2 way the total height of the motor.
I am thinking using bent Brown Tip Silver Solder, bending for legs and each side with a small hardwood mounting/land.
Any ideas?
Cheers

What about some 3mm aluminium sheet bent in a U shape with a fork cut into one of the sides of the U for the engine to sit in?
