I could be tempted to thin the seagull flock for one of these.

Looks like it could be a fun motor, if only there was a place to use it.

Now go & compare that with a Yamoto,

The only time it's in front of the rice eater is appearance, the Merc is prettier, but the Yamoto is considered bullet proof, same capacity & way more power & much cheaper, you can buy a Yamoto lower unit for circa £125

I've always wanted one, but very few got this far as they couldn't run with the Anzani & Konig.

If you find one, I have a hull you can try it on.

Did a picture some time ago from a Merc ad that was never used, nice motors, I have seen them for sale over here once or twice.
Hopefully I will get my 500 on the water next year.
