Old Outboards of other makes

Post by John@sos »

I get so many enquires about other old outboards that it was suggested a page for them might be a good idea.

So if you have a problem with a Swordfish or a Seabee, this might well be the page where others could help you.

Hope to see lots of interesting pics on here too.

Regards,
John

John

Good thinking here!

I like air cooled motors & long-tails & jet outboards too.

Glad to see the Honda's got an electric start, wouldn't like the idea of leaning over it to use the pull cord.
You may loose something :shock:

Manifold

Interesting

Longtail Questions;
1. Why did you choose to have a RH prop on your longtail? Interested to understand the reason for that
2. What's your adjustment system to correct the trim / balance? What improvements would you make?

What takes the thrust on your longtail Manifold?
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
