Seabee ID

Postby newfoundland11 » Fri May 11, 2018 8:10 pm

Hello to everyone from the US!My name is Craig and I just joined the site!! Hopefully someone can help.I picked up a cool little outboard at the flea market a couple of weeks ago. After looking around on the net a bit ,I thought I had a 34cc Seabee minor. After I pulled the flywheel to clean and set the points(indexed it first),I read on this site that the 34cc doesn't have a keyway.Mine does! Are there different versions of the Minor? On the engine case is stamped S34B/G or 6/76737115.On the case rib next to it is stamped 39.JAP is embossed on the recoil starter.Amal carb.Air cooled.I stripped the carb down, made a couple of gaskets, cleaned the tank and got it to run after only a couple of pulls!I think I'm hooked on vintage British outboards!I've enclosed a couple of pics,Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Craig

Does anyone know if parts are still available for this? I need a carb cover and a throttle cable! Thanks,Craig
