Plug, yes there are plugs in the spares kit. but not the originals. I generally use NGK A-6. Not what you wanted to see Chris!! Still they seem to work Ok for me. I have several old Lodge; Champion and Edison plugs but don't use them in anger.

You have just about have it covered looking at you're list, there are a couple of things that might be useful.
Fuel Tank; we had one split on our run.
Tank nuts; the only thing that we lost should've used Loctite on them.
Original fuel cap; so you can lay the motor or tank down in the boat.
Fuel Line & Bulb;
Engine Cover; for spare motor that's not running.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Contact; emergency patch.
Sat. Phone;
Red Spot Tracker; so we can follow you.
Tool Roll; all the tools you need laid out.
Liquid Solvol; hand soap.

Gearbox oiler what a good idea, don't think you will have any plug issues we used more mags than plugs.

that I used to fill the gearbox.

Thanks John I'll add this to my list for later correlation. few things on the would be good. I'll forgo the sat phone though, I will have VHF so will be in contact with the support vessel that should be good enough. The support vessel could also have a tracker on board although I know next to nothing about how they work at this stage but have followed Sydney Hobart yachts from time to time. Original fuel caps defiantly, and of course the refuelling system

Storage and having stuff to hand is the key in all remote maintenance work.

Still haven't sorted the boat yet although I have a 22ft clinker dingy with a tiny for cabin in mind.
