Hayling Island Marathon 2015

Post by Horsley-Anarak » Mon Jan 26, 2015 7:49 pm

Just testing the water here.

Anyone want to do the Hayling event this year?

Will need to look at tide times.

May as well keep it simple, rules as before.

I'm up for it, but you already know the limitations of my boat ALLAN. (better suited to CHOLSEY and large lakes/reservoirs)

Unless somebody could lend me a more suitable boat, i've got plenty of motors that are up to it.

I'm up for crewing for you again H-A see how work goes as I'm likely to be in Madrid a bit this year. I'm there now! Still keen to arrange a Midlands meet, but the last one failed to attract any interest.

My only question is when? I'll b in the UK from 17 June to 13th July could fit in anytime during those dates. May need to crew though as may not be able to source my own boat and engine.

What ever happened to this event this year, was it run, are there photos. I was in the UK through the summer but heard nothing more about it?

Curious... AJ
