Here's a short youtube film of Easters Waikato expedition, it's a sample from the people doing the documentary, nice camera work!

That looks like it is going well for such a big boat with a large wetted area.

What speed is it doing, not including river flow?

Is that an SD powerhead? I bet we will not get to look at the prop.

The engine on Ross's look a bit like your 170 Charles.

That's not Ross, it's Camden (Chicken) using one of Ross's creations a century on a 2hp Mariner leg on a copy of one of Ross's boats, that he built himself.

That would be an impressive piece of work for an adult never mind a modest young man yet to leave school!

If the Kiwis are turning out a lot of kids like that, we should be nervous!

Say Hello to "QuarterMaster" this is the boat built in 4 weeks by me a 17 year old has taken a year to paint it up and add all the gadgets, If i had a dollar for every time someone said "Is that Ross's Boat", the motor is a silver century on a mariner leg thank god for gears!

"The engine on Ross's look a bit like your 170 Charles." Nah mine looks better and probably goes faster :D :D :D

Just wait till next year!

Oh dear.....

That clip was never supposed to go public! It's low quality raw footage. Nina only put it together so John could see what his hull was doing through the water!

If you attend the next Waikato regatta we'll be showing a trailer for the doco which will be at a level that we're willing to put our names to. What we've got together so far is coming together really really nice. Hopefully the guys we've shot so far will agree!

Here's a slightly better video from our launching day of Paris the 1st:
