Will this do the business & keep the Kiwi's honest?

Post by Charles uk »

Is this going to be the Seagull to tow a water skier?

I have to admit that I stole the idea from a Kiwi in the first place (Honest Raoul I never spotted yours, under the dust sheet in the corner of your old workshop).

I was going to give it a run around Hayling Island on Saturday but it's running hot on the main bearings that I made & fitted as I reassembled it, now I've got to strip again & ream them 5 tenths bigger.

Don't tell the wife she's been crawling around the house looking for it!

Will fuel consumption be a problem or do race rules allow a tanker to accompany you? I was in the Navy many years ago and can give you a few pointers on underway fuel replenishment.

So what your saying Todd, is that the answer to the question "Something for the weekend Sir?"
is 50 litres of unleaded!

The price of fun. Seeing that I have barrel mounted in the mill ready to bore. Now to create another little challenger.
