One thing the Kiwi's can do is organise a Seagull regatta, they might be very poor at organising a Pandemic, I think it was only 3 infections of Covid last month, very poor!

We (the Pommes) scored more than 200,000, that's a proper score! I think this is their way of eliminating the competition!

Sorry I can't get there.

Here's a mail I got yesterday with a link to a nice film.

Hi Seagull Lovers,

In 2019 Rach and I had a great time doing this regatta, unfortunately we now live in Perth, Australia so can't make it this year :-( Good luck with the 2021 event, and if anyone has a friend who is unsure, tell them if two newbies with a flat bottomed homebuilt plywood boat had a great time, anyone will 🙂

It All your fault, now we are back in lockdown! (in Auckland ) you had to open your mouth and use the "C" word.

I hope we don't get locked down Easter weekend like last year, I will forget what it all looked like.

We've been locked down for so long (toward the end of last year) we no longer remember the expression for un locked down.

Yes, and now the sun has been shining and I have put fresh gearbox oil in my Seagulls. I have given my kayak a check over and touched up the paintwork. Just hoping for a chance to get out on the water soon.

Better days are coming...

....please!

Wonder how the Kiwis are getting on, start day Saturday morning!

Their alarms will be going off very soon, hope they're all ready.

A great weekend completed for another year. Water levels were low again this year but the weather gods provided beautiful conditions overhead.

Enjoy the photos below, I have put more up on the event page here https://www.facebook.com/WaikatoBritishSeagullRegatta

Nice pictures thanks Cam!

It would have helped me a lot if the pictures had names underneath them, I only could've named a couple entrants, & that was by their boats, Mr Murray.

Is it my imagination or is everybody getting older.
