A week after i bought the ply for the Chris Steele Special, i was getting ready to start work and a work mate came by to say hi and told me a friend had a boat his wife hated and it had a old seagull. May be i would be interested.

Stupid question.

Sadly He sold the motor by the time id got there, but i got the boat for a few hundred.
A 23 foot sailing dory.

Any one got a silver century short shaft wanting a home?
It went for a run yesterday, with a 4hp Yamaha not the same.
And my 102+ is a long shaft, so its to long and the prop wont fit through the well. That just sucks.
But i don't want to remodel the boat. Because its to good.

with the well does the motor sit down inside of it because if it does it won't suit a seagull very well as it will choke on its own fumes

Couple of listings on Ebay Aus you might be interested in. Two Century 100 LLS's in Southport (not too far from you). Condition unknown and currently asking drug money, but might be worth looking at. Price is always negotiable if either proves worthy of further consideration.

There's also a Silver Century in Bundeburg that is reportedly in good running order.
