Pulling a boat out for winter...

Post by segler85 »

Hello,

Yesterday we had to pull out a boat for the winter. But it was dense fog, we tooked this picture at the midday hightide...

Thats my 1957 Hanomag- tractor, the boat is owned by a sideline fisherman.

Good picture, looks like a very seaworthy boat.

Is that a mower attachment on the side of the tractor.

!957, same year as my Landrover.

I really like old Land Rovers, but i think i will never get one because i have many other toys

Yes, it`s a mower attachment, you can clap it down for mowing and it`s powered by the gearbox and two V- belts. The tractor has 27hp from a 2,1L three cilinder ohv diesel engine.

The boat has been for rough water, but i saw it in detail yesterday and i don`t want to get it as a gift... The total bodom at the inside is weak like a waterbed, it needs a lot of fiberglas and paint.

It would be a good boat for the Hayling Island race next year.
