After having a speak to Mark Walker (Buzzook) Ive decided to post up on here, and ask for everyones advice on choosing the wright setup for the river murray trip next year. Ive been in touch with Stuart from Seagull Outboards in the UK for a King Fisher 6Hp. He has one there ATM with a Forward control bracket. But ive been thinking what type of boat to use, Im really thinking of using a big seagull motor for the trip so theres less strain overall and being a later model motor, it should have a bit more reliability. Or i have My 1963 Model 100 thats in great condition and a 40-plus. I dont know if i should also have a spare motor. Or just carry a heap of spares. If i am to get a siutable boat. It will have to be Alloy. The reason being is because of the maintanece free aspect of them. Any advice would be great to here from,
Here are some pics of the King fisher that stuart has E-mailed me.

Took me a while to open the zip file:
Looks good! A tinnie would be my preference as there are star post etc across the river.
