Grimbsy to Lerryn is 373.76 miles they really do need to have a furthest travelled prize. See you there for race no 22.

Just under seven hours in the car, well worth the trip. But don't try the Tribute Beer it was Rubbish!

I find that the ones with a fold away hood, and both zip and Velcro are best. But don't forget that they best made from Gortex fabric and need to have a draw string aroung the waist. H-A P.S. Have not told H.I.D. that I have a new Ebay shopping list for the super fast Seagull project, at least...

I was not going down the Nitrous route, I was thinking more of a belt driven supergharger. Simple just add another pulley above flywheel, easy peasy. Now all I need is a nice cheap blower about the size of a coke can.

My boat is 14 foot long and goes well with either of my featherweights (villiers or Amal carb), there is almost no difference between them and my forty plus. I would also agree with R-B-T, small jap 2 stroke is best, I would use my Mariner 2HP as they are so light. But at the end of the day you cant...

Was Lerryn Race Worth A Five Hour Drive?

The answer is Yes! We all had a great time, even though Grandpa was totally stressed for both laps (have been told old people are like that). Did not get a pint from R-B-T, if I had known he was the guy in the wet-suit I would have said hellow. I did think that my shiny AC would have let him know wh...

Yes perhaps when the credit crunch is over I will look at Bermuda and New Zealand. (It would be nice to have a Thames Race; perhaps we could get a lottery commission grant. I think you can get over the speed limit thing if it is a race.) But the cold and wet will be well worth all of the preparation...
