And there are those who bid their own stuff up with spare identities. There are a couple of names that keep on cropping up on eBay that I am convinced are one and the same person - I can't help wonder what on earth they're trying to hide. In the US, at least, Charles, this is a federal crime and is...

IM always trying to keep fresh fuel in my Gulls, so I mix it as needed. This absolutely invites getting moisture into tank with the Fall temperature changes. Ive just learned to keep a mindful eye on my fuel supply, and now I can clear my fuel bowl in about 30 seconds! You have to be careful with Me...

I will say your running symptoms identically match my posted experience of water in the petrol, so I would eliminate that as a cause before I tore into the motor!

If the materials are the issue it could be tough to get these vintage motors parts done, but the cost of custom machining has plummeted, thanks to the internet..we use emachineshop for our low volume parts (<10 pcs) at much less cost than local shops we use for regular business. THe model is you are...

Adding on....a vise grip applied directly to the head of a screw will help put a lot of torque on it, but this is enough torque to break hardware that is seized up....at least you wont round off the screw slot this way. Dont forget to 'ring the screw' with light hammer taps whilst soaking it in Liqu...

I wonder if the Birmingham Navy has started a squadron over here in the States?

Of course, with all of my ancestors coming from Dudley and Tipton, I might not want to cast too many stones around those glass-bottomed boats.

Gentle heat on the casing will help ease the screws - my preferred easing oil is 'Liquid Wrench' which is thinner than WD40 and will penetrate better, I think. I cant back this up with any facts though. I cracked my EFNR gearbox screws with a hand impact driver which puts a sudden twist onto the scr...

First time we had motored home through thunder and lightning on the river with the whole family..the kids did not like it much The Admiral kept a cool head though. We were making 4.8 mph ag...
