All you need is the cable and a dab of lead. Do a search on here guys DIY them pretty easily.

I think some guys use standard bike cables. Hugz has a couple pics on here of making the lead blob on the ends. Should be pretty easy. What a fun little boat. Should be no problem to rig the steering and throttle to the 'captains' chair. You might consider bolting a board to the transom to raise the hieght to match the engine. Tall transoms on short boats is never a bad idea especially when refueling in a swell
