BMB Outboard
Hi All, I have just purchased this BMB Outboard, along with a couple of others. This motor looks to be all there, except for a water pipe and a wire spring thing, that attaches beside the spark plug. Can anybody advise what year and model this may be. It seems to be pre 1948 , going by pictures I ha...

Good Result.. Sounds like the outboard fairies like you. LOL

Re: Why Always This?
I have the same problem on my Ferrior (Inferrior) I made a plate and used the 4 flywheel bolt holes. Used plenty of heat, lots of soaking, several good hits, and a few new words. So far, the flywheel is still in place. Im hoping if I leave it for long enough, the outboard fairies will fix it for me....

Good job B.
Lucky it has been a fresh water engine, otherwise it would probably be badly corroded .

Re: Recent Purchase Villiers Outboard
Here are a couple of others I have, and they are all different.
I do have others, but am having trouble uploading the photos.
The Red outboard is a Clipper, and the Blue and Gold one is a Villager Stingray.
Cheers,
M

Recent Purchase Villiers Outboard
I have just got this Outboard. I believe it is an Aussie Made Sea Tang, but I could be wrong. Its approx 1960, and has a Villiers 7F engine.
Can anybody positively Identify it ?
Thanks in advance,
M

Good scoring S.
You may want to look for a suitable bicycle, to fit the mini motor to.
Then you can cruise the swap meets in style. LOL

Re: Victa Jet - started today and it runs!
Nice job on the restos .
It good to run them in a tank, and see and hear them running as they were supposed to.
Thats part of the reward, for all the time and effort.
look forward to seeing more of them.

Re: Magazine stuff. Australia 1946-50
Hi All, I have been in contact with Brian Cheras again. He generously allowed me to post some info on his outboards. Cheras Industries started in 1951, and started making Outboards around 1955. Firstly, was a 3HP Air Cooled Hurricane Powered unit, and later, a fully enclosed 5HP water cooled Hurrica...
