- Chuky isn't ringing me anymore - are you arguing about the Hayley date?
Or else you're only telling the inner circle . . .

Just send many dollars to the US and they will send you one, HA.
Sail is optional. When Chuky rings the Lerryn Commodore with a question next time, maybe he should ask how they determine the best time and tide instead of - 'risk assessment'

' (Page from 1952 Parts Identification List from the War OfficeP' - well - we wouldn't want anything but awfentic . . . - maybe use an AC with an AD on the Port side and a D with an SD on Starboard. With your beautifully graphic pics I should be able to knock up a couple of those industrial looking ...

'Permissable Motor Types'
Does this mean in accordance with stock motor authenticity that two motors can be mounted - one on each gunwale?

Re: Ignition Coil Polarity
Rex - today I tested the resistance and found my ohmeter is too basic - I don't know anyone with a posher model. Both terminals to the HT lead were the same, 20.7 (whatever scale that was) So it's the 'think lucky' and be lucky syndrome - 50% correct chance . . . - trouble is - if the front plug nee...

Ignition Coil Polarity
Oh dear - my trusty Daihatsu Hijet which has been used solely for transporting Seagulls to watery places has succumbed to salt erosion !! Its an open pickup, with the ignition coil sited on the chassis behind road spray, and has rusted beyond sparking. Problem is - the price of a new coil (for trans...

Re: 29th December 2010 (am)
I am beginning to regret advertising the Lerryn event in this forum when these 'health and safety' regulators start to poke their regimenting nose into a strictly regulated regatta which has been run without mishap for 24 years. Stay with your New Zealand races where obviously the entrants need thei...

Re: 29th December 2010 (am)
Well I've just about sobered up. Really ought to have had several before the race. Apologies to 40TPI for not looking up the spelling of that celebrated Dickensian character who epitomises so many. It was not mentioned that Captain Slow who runs my 200kg 18.5' skiff did break down and took some time...

Re: 29th December 2010 (am)
richplym - it's after midnight on the 29th December as I type, so for me, you might have left it a bit late for your appeal. Still, I admire your Mr Micawber instinct - are you still a student, what subject were /are you imbibing in? You have omitted the location of your lair. RichPlym, hmm, Richard...
