Flicking through gumtree just now and have seen quite a few old outboards, but this one seems interesting.

Well, I think it ties in 1st place as best buy with a pair of 1970's Merc 45s. One is in really good condition, nothing wrong with it. Hi all Yes she runs! After a new spark plug and some 12-1 in the tank, she started third pull. It pumps water like it was new, and idles down nicely. It isn't a bad place to look for seagulls, but here in WA all the seagulls for sale are ridiculously overpriced, not so bad in the eastern states.
I'm sure you will find something to fit the bill.

Now that is a nice boat! You have done a great job on fixing it up.
That is a perfect pair with that seagull.

Yes very nice, a good score! It is a Cary jet by Garelli (Italian company). They were produced in the 60's (between 1960 and 1968. Engine cowl is usually the same light blue as lower unit.
